Le città si tingono di giallo, io ho appena fatto il cambio di stagione riponendo calze, calzini e sciarpette nell’armadio eppure non riesco a staccare i miei pensieri dall’estate che quest’anno per me è stata lunga, intensa e lenta.
Così come non riesco a dimenticare le giornate passate a Gaeta in compagnia dei miei amici di sempre, i veri responsabili delle mie scoperte culinarie: se non fosse per loro, che sono dei veri intenditori dei quali mi fido ciecamente, non avrei la possibilità di scoprire posti e ristoranti nuovi.
La Taverna di Mino è uno di questi.
Una steak house gestita da dei giovani imprenditori gaetani che fanno della carne il loro punto di forza: buonissima. Così come i salumi e gli antipasti e i e i contorni e i dolci.
Se vi trovate in zona prenotate una cena in questo posto e soprattutto, non dimenticate di provare il gelato de “Il Molo” sul lungomare (uno dei più buoni che io abbia mai mangiato dopo quelli siciliani).
It’s that time of the year when the cities are yellow couloured and I have to change out my summer guardrobe for winter. But I can not take my thoughts from summer this year that has been a long, intensive and slow summer for me.
Just as I can not forget the days spent in Gaeta in the company of my old friends, the real culprits of my culinary discoveries: if it were not for them, who are true connoisseurs, I would not have the chance to discover new places and new restaurants.
La Taverna di Mino is one of them.
A steak house run by young entrepreneurs who make of the meat their strong point: very good.

If you are in Gaeta book a dinner at this place, and above all, do not forget to try the ice cream of “Il Molo” on the promenade (one of the most delicious I’ve ever eaten after those Sicilians).
